The Philip Birchall Mentor Programme is an online programme created to provide aspiring dancers with all the tricks and tools it takes to break into the industry and work consistently across TV, Film, Music, and Theatre.

This programme is built for:

→ Intermediate/Advanced dancers to level up and bring them to a Professional level

→ Professional dancers who are struggling to get their foot in the door, or to be working constantly.

→ Ages 18+

The copious amounts of experience, connections, and knowledge shared by Philip and his guest teachers will have you opening doors and climbing that ladder to success.

Mentorship
Features:

  • After learning one of the tutorials to work on per month, you will record it and post it on your private, personal page.

    You will get very detailed second-by-second feedback, in-depth notes on where to apply texture, levels, and technique.

  • You have access to Phil’s personal Whatsapp number, where you can message him with questions or personal advice regarding navigating the industry.

    We also have a WhatsApp group with all members where we share upcoming auditions and all live class information.

  • As soon as you join the programme, you are required to send a mock agency submission email with your portfolio photos, CV, and showreel.

    Phil will provide feedback and help you to refine your submission email.

    You will also gain access to a list of recommended photographers to help you update your portfolio.

  • Aside from our Whatsapp group, where we check in with each other and share audition/casting info, once a month we do a PB Mentorship catch-up on Zoom, where we can discuss your goals and how to work towards them in depth.

  • So far there are over 40+ tutorials, plus 2 new tutorials a month to work through.

    The tutorials are in all different styles of dance and characterisation, to help push you to become the most versatile performer possible.

  • Aside from the initial mock agency email submission you send when you join the programme, Phil can give you in-depth advice on particular agencies, as he has worked with them or knows them on a personal level.

  • From well-known London teachers and performers, to working choreographers and head agents, Phil is able to invite them as Guest Speakers once a month to share their wealth of knowledge with the PB Mentorship Community.

  • BONUS for London-based dancers - there will be a monthly mentorship-only in-studio session. used as a class, workshop, mock rehearsal, or a mock audition. Phil will set a date in advance so if you’re not London-based and have the funds, you are more than welcome to join.

  • You can access the PB MENTOR PROGRAMME from anywhere in the globe, since everything in the programme is online and via WhatsApp.

    London-based dancers (or if you find yourself in London!) get an in-person mentorship class once a month.

  • A direct debit will be set up and reoccurring payments will be made on the date that you joined each month.

    After the first payment is made, you will receive an email with your unique password and link to access your individual mentor page.

  • As long as you cancel the payment before the day you joined the following month, The programme can be cancelled from that month and onwards.

  • The programme is focused on Intermediate to Advanced dancers from the age of 13 and above (There is no upper limit).

  • The programme prides itself on creating versatile performers, within the 40+ tutorials and guest classes, we cover all styles ranging from Jazz and Commerical, all the way to Hip-Hop foundations, Latin, and more.

  • The programme is ongoing all year round and members can join for as long as they wish.

    Different guest speakers are invited each month, so members tend to join and stay a part of the family throughout their growing career.
